We wish to appoint an energetic Evening Site Operative and Caretaker to join our friendly team within the busy Estates and Facilities Department. This interesting and varied role would suit a person who has a friendly and helpful manner, is a team player and has a 'can do' attitude.

The Evening Site Operative role is to ensure a safe, secure, welcoming environment for staff, pupils, and School visitors. Daily tasks include collecting and delivering a range of items such as sporting and musical equipment and catering provisions around the school's campus and undertaking general caretaking, cleaning, keyholder and security duties.

The successful candidate must have basic IT skills and hold a current clean driving licence. They will be provided with suitable work wear, full induction and supportive line management. A current DI licence would be advantageous but not essential as training can be provided.

The working pattern for this role is 25 hours per week, which will be worked between 4.30pm - 9.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only. There will be an option to extend this to year round (52 weeks ) working 25 hours per week, flexibly between 7.30am and 7pm, Monday to Friday during School holidays. A small number of Saturdays will need to be worked and will be repaid as time off in lieu. 

Refreshments are provided, and appropriate training will be available with the opportunity for progression for motivated and proactive candidates.
