Get ready for an unforgettable experience at our  brand new KES Adventures Summer Holiday Camp, where every day is packed with fun, excitement, and new adventures! Our camps cater to children aged 5 to 12 from across Bath and the surrounding area, offering a wide range of activities that will keep your child engaged, active, and smiling from ear to ear throughout the summer holidays. 
Our dedicated and enthusiastic KES Adventures Team include both KES teachers and a carefully selected group of external professionals. The team are beyond excited to welcome you this summer!

Pricing:
  • STANDARD DAY FEE: £54.00 per day
    A full day session from 8.30am to 4.15pm
    (Late charges apply) 
  • EXTENDED DAY FEE: £62.00 per day
    A full day session with additional 
    early drop off at 8.00am and late pick up by 5.00pm (Late charges apply)

As well as our normal day sessions, we are pleased to announce that we are also offering the option of early drop-offs and late pick-ups.

BOOKING OPTIONS:

  • OPTION 1: STANDARD DAY - A full day session from 8.30am to 4.15pm*
    Drop-off between 8.30-9.30am
    Pick-up strictly between 4.00-4.15pm*

  • OPTION 2: EXTENDED DAY - A full day session with additional early drop-off at 8.00am and late pick-up by 5.00pm*

  • Children will be placed into two age groups: Mini Explorers (5-8 years) and Young Adventurers (9-12 years)
  • All children will need to bring a NUT-FREE packed lunch (ideally in a cool bag/lunchbox), extra snacks and a full water bottle
  • Sun cream and a sun hat (please apply sun cream to your child before bringing them to the camp)
  • Pack a spare set of labelled clothes - just in case!
  • Pack a swimming costume/clothes which can get wet or muddy - there may be the odd water balloon battle!
  • Children should wear closed-toe shoes/trainers, as we will be active outside for most of the day

PLEASE ENTER AND EXIT THE SITE VIA THE UPPER ENTRANCE ONLY. THE JUNIOR SCHOOL IS LOCATED TO THE REAR OF THE CAMPUS.

Temporary drop off and pick up parking is available near to the Junior School.
 

 

TRAVEL INFO/HOW TO FIND US

bath clean air zone

Please be aware that the North Road site (which includes both the Senior and Junior Schools) are located within the Bath Clean Air Zone (CAZ), which was introduced in March 2021. Parents and visitors to the School may wish to check on the government website to confirm if their vehicle is liable for a charge here.

The Pre-Prep & Nursery is situated outside of the zone, however, you maybe charged if you drive through the zone.

DIRECTIONS TO KING EDWARD’S junior SCHOOL - ROUTE 1 

From the North (M4): Leave the M4 by exit 18, signed Bath (A46). At the bottom of the hill, take the slip road to the roundabout, join the A4 (London Road) towards Bath city centre. Continue on A4 into Bath, pass Morrisons supermarket, keep in the left-hand lane and turn left signed Warminster (A36) at the main traffic lights. Cross the river on the Cleveland ridge, pass the Fire / Ambulance Station on the left. Keep in left-hand lane, continue to follow Warminster (A36) signs, turn left into Beckford Road. As the road bends to the right, move into the right-hand lane ready to turn right into North Road (signed Claverton Down & Bath Golf Club) after the traffic lights at the top of rise.  

Alternative route from the North (M4) for light vehicles only: Leave the M4 by exit 18, signed Bath (A46). At the bottom of the hill, take the slip road to the roundabout, turn left towards Batheaston. Turn right to take the Tollbridge to Bathampton. After the hump-backed bridge (King Edward’s Playing Fields on left) continue through Bathampton, turn right to join the Warminster Road (A36). Just before the next set of traffic lights turn left onto North Road (signed Claverton Down & Bath Golf Club).
 

DIRECTIONS TO KING EDWARD'S junior SCHOOL - ROUTE 2

From the East (Chippenham): Use the A4, and follow instructions in Route 1 above.
 

DIRECTIONS TO KING EDWARD'S junior SCHOOL - ROUTE 3

From the West (Bristol): On approaching Bath via the A4 continue following Chippenham (A4) signs through the city centre. As you start to leave the city centre follow the Warminster (A36) signs. Turn right at the traffic lights into Bathwick Street and follow instructions in Route 1 above.
 

DIRECTIONS TO KING EDWARD'S junior SCHOOL - ROUTE 4

From the South-West (Wells): You can approach Bath via the A368 from Blagdon or on the A39 from Wells, which join at Marksbury. Descend to the roundabout on A4. Follow Route 3 along dual carriageway into Bath.
 

DIRECTIONS TO KING EDWARD'S junior SCHOOL - ROUTE 5

From the South (Radstock): Approach Bath on the A367, pass the Park and Ride before turning right at the roundabout by the Red Lion pub signposted University. Continue following road to University but ignore turning into University. The road bends sharply to the right, continue until you come to a turning on the right onto North Road (signposted Bath Golf Club). The entrance to the School is on the right.
 

DIRECTIONS TO KING EDWARD'S junior SCHOOL - ROUTE 6

From the South (Warminster): Approach Bath on the A36. Pass signs for Bathampon Village on the right. Just before the traffic lights turn left onto North Road (signposted Claverton Down and Bath Golf Club).
