A NURTURING AND INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT

At King Edward’s Pre-Prep & Nursery, the wellbeing of each child is at the heart of everything we do, and we passionately believe that this is intrinsically linked to their involvement with, and motivation for, learning. The pastoral care of all the children in the Pre-Prep, is the uppermost priority in everything we do in the School.

Irresistible Learning

At KES, we nurture inquiring minds by encouraging the children to ask questions, make connections and to explore the world around them through hands-on-learning experiences. The learning throughout the Nursery and Pre-Prep really is irresistible!

Adventures Beyond the Classroom

At the Pre-Prep, we offer a wide range of co-curricular clubs which take place during lunchtimes and after school, as well as educational trips and visits. One of the many highlights of our co-curricular provision is the one-night residential to Magdalen Farm, where Year 2 pupils get to enjoy looking after the animals, eating freshly grown produce and most importantly, get to spend time with their friends and have fun!

The children simply love to be out exploring whatever the weather, which is why our Forest School status is so important. Through Forest School, the children are able to develop a life-long love and understanding of the natural environment, whilst developing self-esteem, confidence and social skills through carefully planned activities.
