KES mun maintain their winning streak

It's been another very successful term for the School's Model United Nations Teams (MUNKES) with pupils attending the annual conferences at Bristol Grammar School in February and then Kingswood in March. KES's Bosnia Herzegovina delegation won the outstanding delegation award in Bristol, with our China delegation winning the same award at the Kingswood event. This now means that for the last six MUN Conferences in a row, a KES delegation has won the overall best delegation award. There were also a number of exceptional individual performances, with seven of our pupils recognised at Kingswood as either the best delegate in the individual committees or being highly commended or commended.

It's the first year that I have been involved with the MUNKES team and I have been so impressed with the commitment and expertise of the pupils involved, as well as the support that they provide each other throughout the year and during the events. In addition to the external conferences we attend, the MUNKES pupils have also organised four in-house events at School to date in this academic year, each regularly attracting around 30 pupils.
